Kids too young to color can Uncolor!

A simply beautiful app for babies and small children.

By rubbing their finger across the screen, babies enjoy uncovering the pictures beneath. When finished, there is a surprise to make little ones giggle.

The pictures are handcrafted by artist, Christina Merryman. She gets lots of wonderful input from her children. New artwork is added regularly.

Thanks so much to our customers! We appreciate your kind words and thoughtful feedback. Its such a thrill to think about babies all over the world enjoying our app.

iPad Users: Note there is a separate version of Uncolor for iPad.

Pros and cons of Uncolor for iPhone app for iPhone and iPad

Uncolor for iPhone app good for

I was saving this for a night when we were at a restaurant and needed a distraction but couldnt resist. My daughter played with this app today and was totally thrilled. This a perfect app for the kid that loves daddys iPhone. Please please put up more images. I dont care if they are your grandmas face. Just keep her interested!
My niece will love this. She loves any app that is interactive, and this will soon be one of her favorites!! Only suggestion is you might want to add sound once the picture is uncovered.
This is awesome for when youre stuck somewhere and you want your kids to sit still. I was actually looking for an app like this for my 2 year old, and I just happened to come across it on the featured apps. Im glad I did!! I think its going to save my sanity.
the idea is fabulous and my daughter is enjoying it. At 17 months she figured out the gist of it but I often have to help clear away some of the edges that she misses. Id LOVE to have this app updated in two ways - 1) enable different colors over the top (so bright colors instead of just black) and 2) the ability to use insert your own photos so that the wipe reveals a photo of the child or family etc instead. Great start! Look forward to seeing how this app evolves.
This app is ok, however my son loves similar "ShowMe Stories" with many pictures and "TickleMe Animals" with great photos.
Yes, its a good app, but as others have stated, music would be extremely nice or a "bling" sound once the picture is uncovered. ALSO, I think it would move things along if there was an option to tap the screen to move to the next picture instead of having to wait until the animation finishes. My little girl (age 2 1/2) enjoys this app, but waiting for the next picture does slow her down.

Some bad moments

A great little idea that is quite a flop for a paid app due to its lack of artwork. Only a handful of pictures that are rarely updated!!!! Great idea but no follow through!
this is one of our family favorites, really disappointing to see unethical (my husband feels inappropriate is more accurate...) marketing here- many of your apps are being used by infants and pre-schoolers, perhaps an "opt out of ad" choice can be made available
I downloaded the recent update. Now the app crashes after opening. Sure would like to get a NEW update. NOW I have dowloaded a supposed fix but the problem remains. Uncolor one stroke on the first image and the app crashes.
